  • Several years ago when new to the area we faced the challenge of finding a good auto repair shop. Autoplex was recommended to us by Costco so we took a vehicle in for an oil change. Since then they have taken care of two vehicles for us for licensing issues with on board computer and exhaust system, minor electrical issues, and hood latch problems. We were so impressed that we have stayed with them for three years and plan to continue indefinitely as they have earned our respect and trust. They take time to explain how they will proceed. They take the time to communicate their findings as they do the work. They are straightforward on what the costs will be and the costs have been surprisingly less than what we previously paid to dealerships for auto repairs. As an example, the case of the hood latch they quoted labor and part at about $160 to fix, ordered a part based upon us saying the cable and handle inside the car appeared broken. It turned out the cable just needed adjusting and wasn't broken so they returned the part to the distributor and adjusted the cable charging very little on the same day they did an oil change and fixed an electrical issue. Repeatedly they have proved to be fabulous communicators and have done excellent work at more than a fair price. Now if we could just find a family doctor that cared for us like Mike and Lou care about us and our cars!
