  • Two words: clam chowder. The BEST I've ever had and I've been from east to west of Canada with no restaurant that can compare to here!! It is so rich and not too filling, with so much hearty meat (seafood ofc), seasoned so perfectly! My mouth is watering just remembering back to it. For the steaks - they are HUGE. Keep in mind, they don't mention the size (oz) of the steaks on the menu so I did not expect the big portions at all. My boyfriend ordered the Ribeye Gibby's cut which turned out to be 19oz, WITHOUT the bone. I ordered the NY Sirloin which was 16oz!!! Perfectly cooked to our preference and oh-so juicy. We were both wow-ed by our first bites. For the sides, we both got the Gibbys salad which was okay. The monte carlo potatoes on the other hand - definitely a treat if you want something more savoury than regular baked potatoes. It was recommended to us by our waitress and it did not disappoint. I really wish I had room for dessert, because that menu looked pretty good too. But with the shared clam chowder & a steak each, my boyfriend and I had some leftovers and were beyond stuffed. The service is amazing too - free valet, seated right away without a reservation and our waitress really took her time to go through the menu with us. 1 star taken off my rating because the restaurant was more than half empty yet the host sat us down right beside the workers station. So it was a teeny bit annoying trying to enjoy the ambiance when workers are constantly coming to the wall behind our table to wait around, dump their dishes or prepare their settings. Other than that, the food was amazing so will definitely be coming back.
