  • Pretty Standard I saw this place when I was brunching across the street and my craving for Pho intensified. I decided to come to this place for dinner (plus the owners were watching the first Clinton/Trump debate in English) later that day. The restaurant is pretty low key, a lot of the items on the menu were written by hand. I did like the creaking wooden floors. Definitely, no frills, which can be good for a low key dinner. The service was pretty decent, for most of my meal I was the only person in the place. So, I cannot comment how the service is when the place is busy because I arrived around 9:15 and the restaurant closes at 10. Plus, the make owner kept asking if I was satisfied with the food. I ordered a small bowl of pho for $8.95 CAD. The broth was pretty delicious but the meat was really fatty, which was kind of disappointing. Also, the noodles were thicker than what I am used to in the states. Overall, this place is pretty standard. Your mind will not be blown but the food is good enough for a quick and easy bite to eat. For the most part (if you do not have a Canadian credit or debit card), this place is cash only.
