  • My friend was taken to the ER on Friday because he was threatening suicide after he was evaluated in the ER and stabilized he was moved to Montevista into the geriatric phsyc ward for suicide. He was rushed to another hospital Monday morning @ 6:45am We were never contacted even though we were in his file as his emergency contact. The only reason we found out was because we called at 3pm that afternoon. The reason he had to be rushed to a reg hospital was because he tried to kill himself by taking a bottle of pills. He was on life support and unresponsive for 3 days. He was in there for attempted suicide so how was he able to get to a bottle of Xanax when it is an act of Congress just to bring hand lotion to a patient? Monta Vista you had one job just one job don't let a suicidal patient that is in your care try and commit suicide! You failed your patient his friends and family through your negligence. Do not ever trust a loved one with these people they may end up worse off than they entered or dead.
