  • I visited in April 2016... I debated a bit but decided I'd just go for it. I paid for my ticket and the GoPro video then went right on up to the 51st floor. The views from the rooftop are incredible! So I took my picture with the city lights behind me, and got in line to ride. The girls that went before me came back crying, but said it was awesome. I was nervous. I sat in the seat, got strapped in and immediately thought, "what am I doing?" Then the gate opened and the chair moved off the platform and before I knew it, I was soaring 500 feet above ground. As soon as you start moving, you forget what's going on because the ride is so smooth and the views are better than you could hope for. The ride may be short, but it is well worth the money you pay for it. Next time I go, I'll be sure not to hold on for dear life.
