  • Iconic and fun spot for soaking up the local atmosphere, drinking a cold beer and eating their unbelievable FRIED CHICKEN. I dream of this chicken--it reminds me of the chicken my grandmother made on her Missouri farm, killing and cleaning the chickens just before seasoning and placing into hot fat on the stove. Never frozen, unbelievably moist inside and delicious crunchiness on the outside--I will miss this meal as I have just moved out of state. (Oh yeah--review not complete without mentioning how very good the fries are alongside).
