| - I liked lots of things about FnB: the service, the simple décor, the short seasonal menu, the all-AZ wine list, and especially the food. We tried the terrine, fried squash blossoms, eggplant, and tile fish. I loved the terrine and tile fish. Really liked the squash blossoms. Just liked the eggplant - it was in larger chunks and ended up kinda mushy. However, I still liked the way it was served with some sort of yogurt-y sauce over the top.
Overall, I would award FnB 5 stars.
HOWEVER, I dined (as I often do) with my husband. He is a solid meat-eater. He did not appreciate the focus on vegetables. He did not appreciate the beef-free menu (although at other times, beef may be offered). He wished there were more options overall (only 4 entrees). He did, however, like the wine and the service.
So overall, 4 stars. But don't take a beef-lover there.
