  • We had dinner yesterday with friends. I had the chef's special, roast chicken with mashed potatoes. It was tasteless. The orders took nearly 45 minutes to arrive, even though the restaurant was essentially empty. And it was uncomfortably cold -- and drafty. The air conditioning was unnecessary, and much too strong. I had a cappuccino afterwards, and it was served in the smallest cup I have ever seen in my life for this drink. They do not have decaf espresso: the waiter seemed to think this had something to do with their machine! If a machine can make espresso, it only takes a change of coffee grounds to make a decaf.
