  • My lady brought her call there for a brake issue price totaling $419.00. After two weeks the brakes were grinding horribly. I look at the receipt. They changed the rotors and shaved the brake pads. The shaving of the break pads was $137.??. I have to take time out of work to bring her car back to the dealer. When I get there I talk to STEVEN BOTTS the "service tech?" that she dealt with. He told me he would take a look at it AGAIN and see what the issue was. I go inside to parts to ask how much are brake pads for her car ($55 or $99). STEVEN BOTTS tells me it's her brake pads. I tell him YOU just replaced the rotors and shaved the brake pads two weeks ago. He tells me she has after market pads on her car and new pads would be $99. Remind you she NEVER gets service anywhere but TOWN AND COUNTRY TOYOTA. I tell him thats not possible because she only deals with TOWN AND COUNTRY TOYOTA. And i spoke to the parts department and he quoted me $55 or $99 for pads. STEVE BOTTS tells me the $55 pads are aftermarket parts from their parts department. I tell STEVE BOTTS do NOT touch the car and to bring it to me i'll go to SCOTT CLARK. I end up speaking to Bob Pruitt the service department manager. I show him the receipt of $137 to SHAVE brake pads when NEW pads are $55-99 and how the car is in worse condition than when she brought it in. And how putting SHAVED pads on new rotors was a horrible decision. I guess STEVE BOTTS saw an opportunity to gouge a female. Mr Pruitt said "SHAVED" pads? I tell him yes shaved pads. Mr Pruitt said bring me the car tomorrow and i'll make it right, which he did . The next day I bring my car in for an oil change and a tire rotation. Now my car is shaking and has wobbling feel to it. I have to go back tomorrow since I've been at work all week.
