| - Serious service issues at this hotel.
1. My room was not cleaned once during my 3 night stay. Not once. I did not opt in to the green option, they just never stopped by my room. When I called the front desk, they weren't sure what happened, but they didn't offer to have someone come clean. They did bring me towels.
2. The very heavy sliding barn-style door to the bathroom fell off of its tracks when I tried to close it and nearly injured me. When the maintenance guy came to fix it, he spent over an hour working on it. He said this was their most common maintenance issue. Seriously? They clearly spent a ton of money renovating this place and putting up trendy looking doors, but it's dangerous to have a door that heavy that is clearly a risk for falling down onto guests.
3. I ordered room service breakfast on my 2nd day, which never materialized. Nothing left outside my room, no phone call, nothing.
4. I accidentally left a bag of items in my room when I checked out. I called security, who runs lost and found, they said they'd check and call me back. Hearing nothing, I called again 2 days later, they said they're not sure, but they'll check and call back. I called again the next day. They said they think they might have something, but they need to check. They asked me to email the list of things I left, I did. I never heard back. I called the hotel for 4th (yes 4th) time, asked to speak to a manager (Kayla). She assured me she would check immediately and call me back the next day. Again, never heard back. Overall very unprofessional.
Despite the terrible service at this hotel, the neighborhood is decent if you're at a conference nearby like I was. Urban Farmer is an OK restaurant. I'm really glad that my work paid for this and not me, or I would have been a lot more furious at the exorbitant price for everything (food, internet, etc.), combined with major customer service issues
