I went to the Bootlegger for my birthday. I saw it on the news featuring the owner who is 100 years old and still working! I think that it has been in business for 70 years. If you have been in business 70 years you are doing something right.
My waiter was Eddie. He was great. I had the chefs special. Scallops with micro greens on top cherry tomatoes all laid on a bed of rice cooked in lobster broth. Excellent. At the end of the meal Eddie brought me a happy birthday cannoli. Awesome.
There was also a piano player and singer.
I highly recommend the Bootlegger.
