| - Do not use this clinic. I am absolutely furious right now. This place is awful, Dr Badri doesn't even seem to like dogs, let alone have any idea what he's doing to care for them. In addition to this, when our dog was undergoing treatment, we were constantly told that he would call us... he never called us, I called the clinic four times to get an update on her status. He was distracted and beyond useless during this time.
We've now discovered that our rescue dog is 6 months overdue for vaccinations because this vet never discussed vaccinations with us, so we weren't aware that we didn't have the 3-yr rabies vaccine, we actually had the 1-yr. Never once, in 2 years, did they even mention vaccinations... I feel stupid for not having thought to ask, but these are the types of things the vet is supposed to remind you to do. The paperwork from the Humane Society was never input into their system, so they had no record of her vaccination status, yet NEVER EVEN ASKED.
Beyond this, as mentioned by others, we've had so many instances where they charged us outrageous amounts for what should be minor investigations/treatments. They did a whole diagnostic series with barium x-rays, which are supposed to take place in a series over 24 hours, and they declined to finish the process and do the final two sets of x-rays, but of course, we were still charged full price. They have told us to buy heartworm prevention meds throughout the winter, something I have now been told is not necessary, but why would they tell us if they could make some extra money off of us...?
I can't believe I have no recourse for their entirely incompetent "treatment" over the past two years. I am furious with this clinic. At least there are other vets close by who are happy to provide comprehensive, reasonably priced care by competent, non-scheming vets, who feel genuinely responsible to provide the best possible care for our dog.
