  • If you own a Land Rover, you know the pleasure and pain that these vehicles can provide. The pain coming from servicing these vehicles. First of all, no one wants to work on them, and secondly, Land Rover makes it prohibitive to do so oftentimes. This can be difficult because every Land Rover service location that I have been to has gotten a maximum of 2 out of 5 stars feedback for the service that I have received...and I have been to Westside, Solon, AND Akron! If you are outside of your warranty period, there is still hope. And that hope is found in Larchmere Imports. While I believe that their specialty are BMW's, the staff have broad knowledge of imports and vehicles in general. They are topnotch! Honestly, unless I have to go to Land Rover I will go nowhere else. John, the president, and Dave, the general manager, run the business like it's supposed to be run...like they want people to tell their friends, and like they want to be around and growing for 100 years. The service isn't the cheapest in town, but it's done expertly and they will truly educate you on your vehicle. Actually on my recent service (the dreaded one to change the belts) I did save about 30% versus the dealer. They are so passionate about the work. I recently had a 10 minute conversation with John regarding a service on my vehicle. The conversation saved me from spending money that I was more than willing to spend in the shop...Dave has done the same with me in the past. They get the fact that that is what will keep me coming back in the future. I do have a pending relocation to Brunswick in the near future, however I don't mind the commute back to Cleveland to take my truck to LarchMere Imports. I highly recommend these guys.
