| - I wrote a review for this place, and then they changed the spelling of their Yelp name. I'm leaving this review again for the new place, so that people are aware of what a horrible business this is. The positive reviews here look quite fishy to me -- click through to the "filtered reviews" to see more similarly fishy reviews. Note my disclaimer that I am not a regular tanner -- I just wanted to get rid of some horrible tan lines from athletic clothes prior to my wedding. As I wrote in the summer of 2008:
I had a terrible experience here. The "spa" has the look of a cross between an office and a disheveled apartment. They rushed me through, gave me the same robe, towel, and headband that other clients were using (clearly without washing between), pushed their products mercilessly, and that doesn't even begin to describe the tan I received. I followed their directions of prepping by exfoliating, etc, I asked for the light "natural" color, and I came out looking like a hot dog. I was assured by the owner that the process would cover my tan lines, but it only made the pale parts and the tan parts a few shades darker. I spent a lot of time after my session just exfoliating it off.
