  • My first time going to Rise and Shine with my bf. We were told that the kitchen was going to take a little longer today; we didn't care. We sat down and ordered our food. My bf ordered orange juice water, plan pancakes, eggs, hash browns and sausage. I order banana, pecan frosted flake pancakes and a water. It took 45 minutes to get our food. Waitress was nice but 45 minutes isn't a "little" wait. Service was good and food was good. I was disappointed when I received my pancakes but didn't say anything to the waitress because I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for a redo. My pancakes had banana foster style bananas on too , brown sugar & pecans everywhere, whipped cream with frosted flakes on top of that. I can't have dairy so that ruined my frosted flakes. I don't like bananas foster style cooked bananas. I assumed they would be sliced and inside the pancakes, but they weren't. The menu didn't mention anything. After a few bites I started feeling very sick; I realized they must add a lot if milk to their batter (which has never happened to me before)Also the bill came to $45. That's ridiculous for 2 people and what we ordered. Just disappointed overall. Sorry but I won't be coming back
