After some bridal dress shopping some lovely ladies, two children, and I came in about 8 on Saturday night. The bride-to-be absolutely adores The Gladly, so of course we had to come here while in the area. They were expecting our party, and even though we were 15 minutes early, we waited no more than 5 minutes to be seated. We were sat at a big table, semiprivate spot.
For starters we tried the Noble Bread, Mac 'n Cheese, and one ordered the Kilt Lifter Fondue. Everyone loved the bread especially the tomatoes and yummy butter that came with it. The fondue was also far from a disappointment. But the real killer from the starters was the Mac 'n cheese. It had raving reviews from both adults and kids!
Some main courses that were ordered included: Meatloaf, Chopped Salad, Scallops, Filet Mignon, and Rib Tacos. I'm not joking when I say every single person LOVED their dish! I was the one who forked out for the Filet but I really do not regret it! Hands down the most melt-in-my-mouth piece of meat I've EVER had. Also, I'm all about sauces with my steak (not that it necessarily needed it), so (per my request) they gave me the closest thing to a sauce they had. I thought that was awesome and it really made it for me!
I didn't drink, but the cocktails also were loved by everyone who ordered one. For dessert some had the Sorbet and Peach Blackberry Galette. I only tried the Galette and it was REALLY amazing. Definitely enough to share too! And to top off this perfect experience, it was also so cool that they sold the Homeboys hot sauce. The soon-to-be-bride had to take two bottles home!
As for the service -- superb. A lovely young blonde woman was our server. She stayed on top of everything and accommodated us with separate checks. I'd recommend CPH to anyone after this visit. They were AMAZING to us and were def the right choice for our dinner party! We all left In Good Spirits ;)
