On the morning of Wednesday March 29th my LG G4 froze up and would no longer boot. Called LG Customer Service and they arranged for me to send my phone to Future Tel for service. LG Technical Help decided that my problem was due to a Boot Loop problem that seems to be common on some of these handsets. My G4 was 14 Months old, so I can only assume that it was out of warranty. They stated to me that IF this was in fact the Boot Loop issue, then there would be no cost to me. However, if there was major damage (water or otherwise) then I would be given an estimate for repairs.
I shipped the G4 in the afternoon and received notice that it had been delivered to Future Tel on the morning of Thursday March 30th. I received a package on the morning of Tuesday April 4th with my repaired handset. The receipt in the package stated that they had replaced the mainboard. Total cost to me was absolutely nothing. Excellent service by LG and Future Tel. I am very happy with how quickly they were able to repair and return my Handset.
