You know it's legit when they have a Japanese menu available!
Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't serve fresh sushi-grade salmon (my favorite), but I guess it can't be helped when you're further out in the Midwest. I did try some of their other maki rolls and thought they tasted pretty good.
Next time I think I'll try their actual dinner entree menu. I took a bite of my friend's chicken cutlet and it tasted super authentic - crispy, well fried, and not at all oily. Yum!
