| - I've been many times for dinner and drinks, but this was our first brunch visit. Live music on Sundays is fab. We were with a group and were seated in the front window seat, would definitely not recommend that in the summer since it felt like being cooked in a greenhouse- too hot! I'd ask really nicely if that can be avoided next time. Service was good and food was even better.
The tomato baked eggs were delish- just the right amount of cheese, a few of their fab potatoes, a slice of chewy bread, runny eggs- yum!
B ordered the quinoa bowl with poached eggs- also very good with colorful veggies and perfectly poached eggs. I'm not a hollandaise fan, but there was just a bit and it was much lighter than the thick, heavy sauce at other places.
Iron skillet pancake- huge and way too good for my meager will power to resist. This is perfect for sharing- soft, warm, just the right amount of chocolate chips. I'm not sure how they make the whipped topping, but it is SO good. I'd order syrup on the side next time, and there will definitely be a next time.
