| - I was really unimpressed by my experience at Wicked Spoon. My colleague and I decided to splurge on a Vegas Buffet on our trip, and frankly even though we arrived 1.5 hours before they were going to close, we shouldn't have had to feel like we were being rushed by the chefs and the workers at the restaurant. All the sushi was practically gone, with only salmon left, and when I asked about the other sushi, I felt like the chef felt pressured to even answer me and was reluctant to give me a straight answer.
The one thing that I was able to enjoy was the truffle risotto, which was very delicious. But considering we paid about $67.00 each to get in, I was really hoping to experience the overall buffet, and not just bits and pieces. Even little condiments such as horseradish for the prime rib had gone missing in between my second plate as they were putting everything away.
The one saving grace from my experience was their dessert. Although they were already taking the desserts away as well, I was able to really enjoy the bread pudding - which was by far the best tasting thing I had at this buffet.
It's really unfortunate that I've had this experience, especially after hearing all the great things about it from friends and family, but I guess my timing just wasn't right.
