rev:text	Safelite is horrendous. They recently replaced my windshield and managed to damage my vehicle and get glass absolutely everywhere. Apparently last year when my windshield was replaced, also by Safelite, the tech failed to put urethane between the glass and pinch weld. This means this time around the tech had to chisel out my windshield. He took zero precautionary measures to ensure glass did not travel everywhere. Guess what...I ended up with glass everywhere. I mean everywhere. I turned on the vent and glass blew throughout my vehicle. He also managed to shower my entire garage with glass. I'm still picking it up over a month later. They had to take my vehicle to a body shop for about 10 days. My entire dash had to be removed to clean out all the glass. The tech also managed to scratch the area all around the windshield and stain my hood with their chemicals so it had to be repainted. A body shop employee had pretty loose lips as well. He said that he had a similar experience with them and that about 1 vehicle per week comes in with a botched windshield replacement. Don't know if that's accurate but not a good thing when your bodyshop is badmouthing the company paying the bills. After all this I had zero animosity towards the installer. Clearly he was not adequately trained and had no idea what he was doing. I found the Safelite employees dealing with my issue very rude and condescending. They could not understand why I was upset and offered me zero compensation. They seemed to think I should just be satisfied that they provided me with some compact rental car. Go somewhere else.
