| - Not impressed whatsoever.
Before I elaborate, let me explain that the last time I went to a Men's Wearhouse, I spent a grand on a suit.
While I do admit that I overpaid, the service stuck out in my mind and that's what I expected when I went to the Northlake location yesterday night...
I went in to peruse and to create a wishlist as I wear suits to work and anticipate purchasing two or more in the next couple of months...and I would have returned when the associate who would have helped me was working (to ensure they earn the commission for their time and good service) - the only problem is that no associate helped me.
One male associate attempted to...or, so I thought.
As I browsed the racks of suits, this male approached. He asked if he could help...I politely informed him that I was looking for two suits that fit and that I anticipated purchasing in the next two months. As I talked, he cut me off and said, "so you're just looking?" I said, "well, yes, but..."
The rude twit had the nerve to walk away mid-sentence.
I stared, in awe, at my friend, who was there with me...and I asked him what had just happened.
An array of emotions overtook me as I kept walking to the next section of suits. I could not believe how rude this man was!!! How rude and disrespectful!
Now I could understand if I had been impolite or gave negative body language or didn't use manners...but I was polite and have absolutely no idea what this man's problem was!!! He cut me off in the middle of a sentence and just walked away!!! What the h*ll?!?
Needless to say, after seeking reassurance from my friend that I hadn't mumbled or treated the man with disrespect, I walked as close to the wall as possible as I hurriedly exited.
I have no desire to go back to this location. In fact, I am half tempted to contacting their corporate office to inform them of this man's behavior.
As a manager of a jewelry store, I must admit that I would intervene and apologize if I ever caught one of my associates treating a guest this way.
This man should not be working in any customer service position.
