  • Lorenzo did me a huge favor today. I had dropped off a new set of wheels and some new and slightly used tires over at one of the other big tire shops this morning. They called me a little later today to tell me that there was a nail in the tire that had damaged the sidewall so one of the tires was no good. Unfortunately it would be a few days until they'd get this tire in stock. Now, we were heading on a road trip Friday morning so this was bad news. I decided to call around and this shop was the first one I called. Lorenzo said he had none in the shop but there were some at the main distribution in south Phoenix (IIRC) and he could get it to his shop by about 3:30. This was cutting it too close. He then offered to have one of his guys go downtown to pick up the tire and drop it off at this other tire shop. What?! They did it and I just got the call that my new tires and wheels are all set. Wow, what a huge life-saver that was and I can't imagine getting that kind of service at a whole lot of places. Lorenzo has made a fan today. Thanks guys!
