  • I stayed at the MGM Signature Memorial Weekend in 2014 and it was the second time seeing it and first time staying there. I routinely visit Vegas and I like to stay at a different place when I can and to date I've stayed at or toured nearly a dozen properties. Having not stayed at Signature, I decided to try out since it was close to where friends were staying too. I was very pleased. Not only is it connected to MGM, it is also arranged as it's own resort with separate entrance. You could trek all the way through MGM to check in, or just get dropped off at a separate entrance that leaves you right at the check in counter. What's cool is you have ease of access to all the MGM has to offer. You have access to the MGM pool, which is surprisingly very close to the Signature. You pass the pool entrance on your way to the walkway to the Signature from MGM. Rooms are a studio/condo style with balcony. Some have a one bedroom. You get a pretty good view of the strip if you're on a higher floor in a north facing room. Also, the Signature has a private pool for Signature guests only. It's decent size, you hear the music from the MGM pool and rental of a umbrella and lounge chair is $75 and it comes with a liter of water. Drinks are very reasonable in price and it's not stupid busy and packed. You can actually relax and enjoy some sun. If you're not about being pretentious, not concerned with who you're seen with, you don't have a need of making sure you're always amongst the "pretty people", or if you don't suffer from FOMO, I think the Signature is a hell of a deal.
