This restaurant is a good representation of how Filipino restaurants should be. Apart from the well-appointed Filipino-themed ambience and creatively presented dishes and beverages (buko juice or young coconut served chilled and garnished in a coconut whole), the entrees range from traditional grilled meats and seafood to staple home-style viands like kare-kare, crispy pata, laing, dinuguan and more! Salo-Salo is ideal for casual dining as well as a place to celebrate special occassions, my only caveat is that service can be spotty at times varying from fast and pleasant to downright slow and annoying. I guess it all depends how busy it is during your visit.
