#VIARAIL arrived at the station with my app showing availability. Train manager lets everyone but me on and says it's SOLD OUT. Inside they say two seats are available and many in business, and to pay onboard.
Train manager says no and train closes and leaves.
When I followed up why I wasn't allowed on the train, "there was some confusion, he thought you wanted a ticket for the next train"? Seriously, why would I be getting on that train to buy a ticket for the next one? Confirmed again inside that there were plenty of seats in business.
Normally I don't post my customer service grievances and I would have been fine with the next train if it was truly sold out, but this had a rotten smell and it's a government subsidized service meant for everyone!
Rudeness and disrespect abounds at Via (Kingston station).
