| - When you're in Vegas, you gamble, watch pretty ladies (or men) do naughty things, drink, and you enjoy the buffets.
Carnival World Buffet, for ~$35 a person for dinner, located inside Rio Hotel, is huge. Huge I tell you. It doesn't look fancy schmancy like some of the other buffets, but they still serve food. And again. Food. Buffet. YUM.
You go in, pay, then wait for someone to sit you. They ask you what you want to drink (soda or water or juice) and then you get a fork. You yourself go out, grab a plate and EAT. EAT UNTIL YOUR EYES MATCH YOUR STOMACH. Because there is a LOT of food.
First part was meh. Pizza, some other small stuff.
Then you get to go to the Mexican part. Tamales, rice, beans, guacamole, salsa, beans, steamed fish. That part was decent enough. Taquitos as well, if you enjoy that too. Then you go to the salsa part itself (mild, medium, hot, tacos, ground beef, etc). I got a lot of cheese and sour cream and guac here because it reminded me of chipotle. I put that on top of rice because I wanted to have fun.
Then you enjoy. The crab legs. Unfortunately, I liked it, but after a while it got tiring. After plate # 8 or 9. There's butter so you can even put hot butter afterwards. It got salty... I don't know why, the crab legs got saltier and saltier with each passing one. The clam chowder was good. Hot and had a lot of potatoes and clams.
Keep going and a chef has a knife and he wants to attack you. KIDDING. Prime rib! It's good :DDDDD Prime rib with raw meat is amazinggg. It is really tender and flavorful. Make sure you have the red part. If not, then ..no. Don't get it. They have ham and other meats as well, but they didn't taste as well for me :P
Sushi- Nah. Gonna leave. Good bye. No sashimi at all. Just cheap spicy tuna and CA Rolls and stuff like that. Adios.
Live Asian Soup to Order. Wonton soup, not a fan either.
Chinese section- orange chicken, clams, rice. I skipped.
BBQ Pork/Pig/Duck- SKip. Skip again. I had it and it tasted hard or the pug skin was not crunchy. No. Go away. Skiparino.
Dessert- this would make the Dessert Queen blush. The ice cream was DELISH. Cookies and Cream- YUM. Chocolate- Mhm. Decadent. They have oreo cheesecake, pumpkin, apple pie, cookies. I spent a lot of time here with the ice cream/gelato. It looks beautiful and tastes great!
Go around and enjoy your crab legs. Even though this place was around $35, I would say it's decent rather than amazing. I ate slowly too, and at the end I was already tired of the food and didn't have anything that I would go back here to try again.
Except the dessert.
Oh god I love sugar too much
