  • Pediatrix Physicians are amazing but the billing, insurance, and customer service departments are all horrific. They have been balance billing us for over and above what insurance has already paid. The wait time to get through to a representative can be 20 min or more. We have been caught in between Cigna and Pediatrix for six months for one bill and almost one year for another bill. I signed over my rights for Pediatrix to negotiate with Cigna on my behalf and yet we are still being billed by Pediatrix for over and above what insurance has already paid. My next step will be to hire an attorney to force Cigna and Pediatrix to cooperate with each other and stop asking me to pay over and above what insurance has already paid.
