  • The very worst place you could go if you really love your pet. All Dr Lirtzman cares about is how much money you are going to give him, period! If you honestly think he cares about your animal, wrong again, he doesn't . All he brags about is how wonderful he is and says that he's the only "board certified" who cares? Honestly, not me when there are a few excellent vets here that can blow DR L away. My review is based on surgery he performed on my beloved sheepdog several years ago when he first opened his practice. He did a hip replacement and the hip broke, it was his mistake because he went with the new way rather than the true and trusted. You see, my Cody only had one hip so we couldn't really take any chances. Cody almost died, Dr. Lirtzman had to do another surgery and of course charged me again. It truly was a horrible experience I will never forget. If it wasn't for another Dr that worked with Dr. L at the time, Cody would have died because there was a complication after the second surgery on a Sunday and Dr L was too busy to come in. Maybe through the years he got better, I really hope so...
