I've been wanting to go here for quite a while. I loved Brian M on Top Chef so I knew that his food would be inventive and fresh. Reservations are a must for dinner.
I started with my fave, a dirty martini. Very well made. Perfectly dirty, like I like it. :P We were a group of 7 women so we all had cocktails and for food starters, we opted for the raw choices of poke and ceviche. Devine. Served very rustically on wood boards in mason jars. I kind of like the presentation....it was cute and unexpected. But the theme is throughout the decor as well, so it fits.
We moved on to share the calamari (and ordered another as it was THAT good) and the shishito peppers (just like everywhere else). I ended with scallops that were wonderful and a few others had the salmon or steak. Everyone was pleased and satisfied.
This is a great option in Vegas. It's a bit loud, but it IS in the casino. And of course, as most places in nice Vegas hotels, it's a bit pricey. But if you are out for a decent meal in a cute setting, definitely try Searsucker.
