  • Portillo's in Scottsdale from Chicago is a blessing. The food is good, but sometimes the hot dogs are soggy. It's not that hard to let the water drip off of a hot dog before you put it on the bun. That's really starting to annoy me, so 4 stars. The staff is always wonderful. We have eaten a few of the sandwiches, which are good. The chicken chopped salad is our favorite, but I don't think the chicken is cooked in-house. Lately the chicken in the salad has been mushy and covered in fat, so we ask for the chicken on the side so we can pick through it. We love It here, but it needs some attention to detail. P.S. A Chicago dog comes with celery salt. All employees should be reminded of this.
