Eliot's is a wonderful bookstore, a three-story business just north of Yonge and Wellesley that has survived pretty well. It has a wonderfully large and vast collection of all kinds of books--I've been able to find SF paperbacks out of print since the 1980s on its racks at a pretty reliable rate. Good prices, too.
Sometimes the people serving at the front desk can be a bit offputting, sometimes in a bad mood, sometimes with a bit of a mordant sense of humour. They don't detract from the overall quality of the store, though, and are quite knowledgeable.
