  • Good food but service makes this place much less appealing. There are lots of other soul food options in Charlotte, but this place makes it seem like they are God's gift from soul food heaven. And the order was incorrect. Ordered the shrimp, whiting, candied yams and baked beans. Whiting was a bit salty but it was all pretty good. Shrimp were fresh and large. Candied yams were well seasoned and yummy.
