  • We ended up at the Medley Buffet inside The Orleans because we were uninterested in the food court options they had. We had been here several years ago, and were not particularly amazed with the food-and even had a sushi food poisoning incident. However, with the recent remodel of the buffet, it seems they have really improved!The selection isn't huge, but is still pretty decent, so you are sure to find something you'll enjoy. It was really refreshing to see that hey had completely renovated the buffet, from the decor, the flooring, the chandeliers, everything appeared clean and looked beautiful! When we were here a couple years ago, the decor was very dated but we were happy to see that the place had really opened up, was bright, and overall a major improvement from our last visit. We had no problems with the service, all of the waiters were extremely friendly, and we were checked on numerous times. Our waiters were quick to bring us refills and clear plates off our table. She also made me custom iced coffee (not on the menu!) which was so nice of her. The food quality-having been to numerous AYCE buffets in Vegas has really improved since our visit years back. On this particular visit this past weekend, there were two standout dishes for me: the pesto tortellini, and the al pastor tacos! Pesto tortellini is one of my all time favorite Italian dishes, so to see it as one of the dishes in the Italian section was a big surprise, and it did not disappoint! The pasta was creamy, the cheese-stuffed tortellini was sooo delicious, and the pesto was not overwhelming, and tasted fresh! The al pastor tacos were such a pleasant surprise!! We are Southern California natives so everyone in my party was super excited, and they were DELICIOUS. The quality of meat was fantastic, and the salsa gave an amazing kick. We also saw the al pastor being cooked traditionally on the stick, and carved fresh-so amazing! They also renovated their dessert bar, and I'm so happy that they added gelato- my AYCE Vegas buffet trips are not complete without it! So happy with the remodel and improvements! I would recommend this buffet to anyone as they are really beginning to stack up to the higher end buffets located on the strip. Their selection is smaller but very unique. Very happy with the service and left very satisfied!
