I've never bought anything on-line from Nordstrom, but I decided to buy a pair of boots that I saw in a pop-up ad and paid the extra shipping fee so I could receive them in time for my trip. I called to check on the status, and much to my frustration, I learned that the boots were on back order and would not arrive in time. Although the on-line representative from Nordstrom refunded my shipping fee and apologized for the inconvenience, I'm annoyed that the company didn't bother to mention anywhere on the product page that it was on back order. I was told that the product is coming direct from the vendor and it's out of the control of Nordstrom. They couldn't even tell me if I will receive the item by Thanksgiving, yet they have my money. This is the first and only time I will shop on-line with Nordstrom.
