| - Absolutely awful, this hotel should not be a Westin. I write this review as an SPG Lifetime Platinum, so I've stayed at a lot of Westin hotels. So far during this stay:
- After waiting out front for 10 mins, then in the lobby for another 10 mins, I've had to go walking all the way into the hotel restaurant to ask why there was no one out front, or at the valet desk, or at the check-in counter. It took 30 mins just to get someone out to help us, and that was the actual hotel manager, who then eventually found the valet to actually get our bags and park our car.
- then we found out that the actual two adjoining rooms we had booked, and which I had confirmed directly with the hotel the previous day, were not available. Instead they offered us two rooms on opposite sides of a floor, which doesn't help us much given we're traveling with our two young kids
- eventually we settled on a one bedroom suite with a pull out couch in the "parlor", where the couch looks and feels like it might have been barely comfortable about a decade ago
- this room also had a totally dead phone, a sometimes working TV, and worse of all an air conditioning system which sounds like a hammer hitting an anvil every time the AC turns off. The hotel engineer has been able to replace the phone and fix the TV but after three days is still stumped by the super loud AC, which has been extremely effective at keeping us awake every night
- coming downstairs on our first morning we were surprised to find our valet parked car having a parking ticket on it
- meanwhile the hotel is batting 100% at never actually having the valet bring our car up even thou we call ahead every time
- and the cheery on the ice cream sundae of this hotel is that every single day, without fail, our room keys have failed to work when we come back to the room at the end of the day. All four key cards, which have been kept separately, so no chance they were all somehow magically demagnetized. The hotel promised to have our door locks "looked at" but that also never happened.
This hotel shouldn't even be a Best Western, let alone a Westin.
