| - This place has been on my list of places to check out for some time. The husband and I were out running some errands and decided to check it out. Surrounded by warehouses, it can be easily overlooked.
The restaurant and store portion is simple, yet charming. When we entered, we were promptly greeted by the ladies behind the counter. We browsed the shop for a minute and then placed our order at the counter before taking a seat at one of the two large communal tables.
We ordered the charcuterie and cheeseboard for two, the duck rueben, the butternut squash soup (special of the day), and a french press coffee. The soup came out first and was phenomenal. The creamy goat cheese, spiced candied nuts, and herb oil played well together. Next out was the duck rueben with a side of assorted pickles. The sandwich was perfection! The flavors were well balanced and left you wanting more. Roxanne came out with the board last which left other diners envious. The beautiful display of assorted cheeses, meats, and accoutrements were placed with such precision. Each section, of the board, was well thought out and paired to perfection. Sufficient to say that we cleaned every bowl, basket, and board.
At the end of our meal, before we paid, Roxanne gave us a tour of the back facility. The fact that they are part of a food proveyor and have access to such amazing product makes for an exciting dining experience. We would suggest this place to anyone who loves cheese and charcuterie.
