To Scott S. - I appreciate your taking the time to respond but I still believe your contractors are told to do a cheap fix rather than addressing the actual (expensive) problem. It's much cheaper to fill my unit with freon once a year than to replace the coil that was actually leaking. The service people who replaced the coil provided us with photos that show it was not a difficult problem to diagnose. While I understand the financial motivation, it is not good customer service. Because we had the warranty, we were not motivated to bring in an independent contractor and that's why it took so long for us to discover that the problem was actually pretty simple (but unfortunately expensive).
I will note that we used our warranty for several items (mostly pest control) and found it to be useful. However, this issue with the air conditioner is enough to negate any positive experiences with your company.
Incidentally, our air conditioner malfunctioned in April... just as it did the years before. I was tardy in leaving this review.
