  • I'm conflicted about this place because my nails did look amazing at first when I went for acrylics, and the shellac lasted for a very long time without chipping, but the place is not clean enough and I don't think I'd risk another visit even for the cost. My cuticle was cut pretty badly by the electric file thing (I'm not sure what they're called), and the nail tech just dabbed a bit of alcohol on it and kept going, which is concerning because I don't think they sterilize anything between use and I was bleeding. She really sawed off my natural nails, which was painful, so when the acrylics eventually, came off, I felt like a declawed cat. I know acrylics usually trash your natural nails so I'm not blaming the salon for that, but I honestly think they buffed too much off because it really hurt throughout and after removal. As much as it was fast and they looked nice, I think the lack of focus/attention wasn't great, because every one of my nails was ingrown afterward. It's very inexpensive, but there's the whole "you get what you pay for" adage.
