| - AWFUL!!! If I could leave zero stars I would! I have a 3 year old MDX (that's out of warranty due to miles) that's transmission went out. Yea, you read that right. But that's not the reason for the 1 star review--Mark, whom I believe is the service manager, wanted to charge me $6000 to put a rebuilt transmission in. When I questioned that customer service, him as well as Acura's regional manager acted like super heros when they offered to knock off $1000 and only charge me $5000. Even though acuras recommended service is why my transmission went out in the first place... the transmission wasn't shifting properly, so "flush the transmission fluid," they said... "it'll be fine," they said. But then 8,000 miles later, transmission is totally gone...
But it doesn't stop there... when I was going to pick my car up to have it repaired elsewhere, MARK WAS GOING TO CHARGE ME $108.00 AS A DIAGNOSIS CHARGE!!! Now don't get me wrong, I understand time is money, but so much for a luxury brand! Last time I ever deal with Acura especially Motorcars Acura!!!! Money comes first here, definitely not the customer!!! Steer clear!!!!
