I started going to TLG with my daughter because a work mate asked us to Bring a Friend. I think my daughter was 18 months at the time. We instantly loved it! The staff is amazing and my daughter really enjoyed the classes.
Now my daughter is 3.5 years old and we have been going to TLG since. She took Wonderkids to prepare for Pre-K and thrived. She is very outgoing and rambunctious and we put her in dance (ballet/tap) because she showed an interest and it really honed her focus and she does amazing things in that class.
The teachers notice and mention it to me and it makes me happy as a parent that I have done something beneficial for my daughter. I have spoken with other parents in dance and some mentioned pulling their kids out of traditional dance (ballet) classes because the teachers were too rigid and strict. I like the way TLG handles their classes because the kids definitely learn but in a fun environment.
We also had her 3rd birthday party there an let me tell you, every friend I invited text me shortly after the party saying their kid(s) were already asleep in the car and how much fun they had. It's perfect for my daughter's birthday (end of January = freezing cold out) because the kids get to be super active in a great space. And you know, your house stays clean ;)
If you have considered trying TLG I highly recommend it. They have drawings to win stuff all the time and it is such a great stepping stone for kids in regards to learning and interacting with other kids and adults who aren't their parents. We love TLG and I'm so glad we have one nearby.
