| - For being so new this place seems to have it together. The space is huge. The first floor has tanning, massage chairs, and the front desk. The second floor has three rooms of cardio machines and the locker rooms (with showers, unlike the other "$10 gym") and the third floor has the strength training machines, free weights, and a functional training room (accessible to $20 membership holders only). So far this gym hasn't been too busy, I've never had to wait for a machine. It is also kept fairly clean. The location is ideal, about half way between Yonge station and Wellesley station. I'm happy with the investment for the membership so far. As far as cons, they have a bunch of "hidden" fees. I say "hidden" because they aren't on the flyers and signs but they are actually easily accessible on the website so not a huge secret. There is a registration fee, then a month later an annual access fee or something. It still works out to be a really cheap deal, but don't be fooled, it's not like you just walk in an drop a $10 on the table and call it a day. Secondly I hate some of the machines. They are functional but there's something funky with the ergonomics. Specficially I hate the arm curl, chest press, and stationary bikes here so I maintain another membership elsewhere. On the bright side maybe it will finally spur me to learn more about free weights.
