  • I had by far the most interesting experience at OUAC. My husband and I finally purged they baby items as well as some toys our children had out grown. Upon entering, and seeing the size of the trade in order, the manager said, "you don't need me, right?" And left for the rest of the day. There were quite a few large items we had as well - baby swing, walker and a vibrating seat. One look at them and one of the employees said all of those items had been recalled. I did a quick look up and none of them had. On second glance same employee said they couldn't take them because they were "a little dirty" and I should "go home and clean them." They weren't, you could tell they didn't want to check in the order with how busy it was. I asked them if they would accept a toddler mattress, their response was "only if it was brand new and still in the plastic." I started to wonder what the point of a second hand store was, if they only accepted things in brand new condition. Because we had such a large quantity of items, they insisted we remain in the store for them to look up recalls and make decisions on items. After waiting two hours for them to tally everything up, they offered us $50! We declined and proceeded to pack up our car. When we asked for one of our boxes back the girl got snippy and said, "do you see a box around here?" Needless to say, we will never go there to sell or purchase in the future. The staff was rude and seemed inconvenienced to do their job.
