| - Great room for a great price!
We needed a room for one night while my husband's band played at the Hard Rock. I could not justify spending almost $400 for a room at the Hard Rock and I didn't want to have to deal with crazy traffic so I booked a room for us at the Hyatt Place. It sits kitty-corner from the Hard Rock and is an easy walk. Best decision ever. We arrived earlier than we expected and got there about an hour before our requested early check-in time, so we killed some time at Hofbrauhous which shares the parking lot with the Hyatt. Fantastic beer and food. Check in is typically 4pm, however we were in our room by 12:30pm. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The fridge was a nice touch and kept our drinks cold. The a/c worked famously and the staff was prompt and extremely courteous. The hotel does not have valet or bellmen, but for the price I wasn't surprised (booked our room thru Booking.com and paid $189 total). There is complementary valet in the parking lot in the evening, but I'm not sure if it is provided for hotel guests or patrons of Hofbrauhous. Either way there was plenty of parking, as long as you didn't mind walking a little. It wasn't an issue for us, as the weather was perfect, but it might be a problem on those hot Vegas days or if it's raining. The jets were loud when we were outside, but once in our room I didn't hear a single jet until the early hours of the morning and even then it was not any louder than if a big rig was driving by. The hotel did provide ear plugs but we didn't need them. If you live out in the sticks where there is little to no traffic noise at night the jets might be an issue, but if you live in a city that has at least some traffic noise 24/7 then I don't expect the jets to be much of an issue. Our room was quiet for the most part. We were able to rest during the afternoon and when we rolled into bed at 3:30am we were able to hear our neighbors above us, but not to the point of it being bothersome. They have a complimentary breakfast, but we left without eating, so I can't comment on that.
Overall, a great place to stay.
