Visited Monro to get an oil change. They forgot to put the oil cap back on, which resulted in significant damage to the vehicle, not to mention putting our lives at risk. They cleaned the oil from the engine, but damaged the vehicle in the process. Now our car clicks when we brake. Took the vehicle in. They agreed that the vehicle clicked but refused to pay for the repair. I will NEVER recommend this company again. The manager's name at this location is Charles. He was initially polite, but grew hostile when I suggested he help pay for repairs they caused. Terrible business ethic. You don't treat customers this way.
UPDATE 8/27/15:
I called the person who commented below. After a few days of phone tag, I got ahold of her and she told me a claims person would be calling me to take care of the situation. That was a month ago now. I've called her several times since and have not gotten any calls back. This is absolutely shameful. This company does not deserve to be in business anymore.
We've spend quite a lot to get the car fixed, too. And we're STILL having trouble...all because this place didn't put on the cap, then cleaned the car with way too much degreaser, which has been stripping grease out of places where grease needs to be, putting our lives in danger. Just deplorable. Not sure what else to do, other than tell everyone who reads this that this is not a company you want to do business with.
