| - I wanted to absolutely love this place, given the reviews and all that jazz. It was good, but nothing was astonishingly good, so maybe I had hyped it up in my mind and was disappointed. We started with the farmer's toast, which was tasty, and one of the best parts of the meal. For mains we had the charred filet mignon and one of the specials, which was a ragu over pasta. Steak was cooked to order, and my husband liked it, and while the ragu was good, it was very salty. Huge portion of the ragu, which was nice, but I couldn't finish it. We also had the roasted brussels sprouts, because I adore them. They were super tasty and I could have eaten another order! For dessert we tried their special dessert - sufganiyot, which is essentially a mini jelly doughnut - served with strawberry jam. That was delicious, and they should sell that jam. Around $100 for all of this + tip. Service was great, and ambiance is welcoming, soothing, and I loved their napkins. Sorta bummed I didn't like it more.
