This review is coming from a gal who had never had chicken fried steak until middle age- because to me, it was one of the most unappealing looking cholesterol laden dishes on earth. Well, that changed when dear papa took me there for dinner after picking me up at the airport about 6 years ago. Since then, I've been to Texaz one or two times a year and....still haven't tried anything except their chicken fried steak combo, always with a Shiner Bock Bohemian Black lager. It's perfection. Eventually I'll try something else, but why tempt fate?
