Short Leash caught my eye for the naan/pita like bun. Only in the southwest would this make any sense.
I had the Mac Daddy which consisted of mac n cheese and vegetable chili. The ingredients were tasty and clean. There was no oil, grease or butter overkill. The naan was warm and soft. The sausage was good too.
Their drink selection is far better than I would of expected. Regional beers in the high numbers and who can say to no to a big red?
Dessert: I need Anne Robinson to tell them that this is their weakest link. The strawberry cheesecake doughnut tasted imported..imported from Tim Horton's that is. Bad Bad Bad.
Service was clean just like their dogs.
I love businesses that can put a twist on things the way that Short Leash has. A worthy stop for anyone to make. And if you're one of those people that skips dessert, for once I won't consider you stingy.
