Wow. Great southern food.
I came for the meat. The ribs had a nice hint of spice and were fall off the bone succulent. The brisket was equally moist and tender and delicious.
Somewhere in the middle of my meat-fest I fell in love with the veggies. The sweet potato mash, the collard greens, deep fried brussel sprouts and salad were all very tasty. The mac and cheese was tasty and creamy and somehow that extra spiral on the noodle gave it more firmness.
I have desert to go. I am thoroughly stuffed and satisfied.
The service was quick and friendly. The food came out quickly and the atmosphere with the exposed brick is great.
Will definitely come back.
Will definitely have to ask the chef for some tips. I have a big green egg and the brisket and ribs were both better than what I am doing at home.
