Better late than never...
Foodies & Fellowship...Queen's Feast Edition.
Our monthly jaunt around town brought us to Bonterra. The building is charming and quaint. It's an old church transformed into a top notch dining. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Our waiter Gary was hilarious! His timing and jokes were perfect. One foodie said , "He reminds me of Steve Martin".
I ordered slow smoked prime brisket for the appetizer. The meat was very tender and the bbq sauce gave it a nice dimension...not too tangy or sweet. For the second course, I ordered shrimp and scallops. The been rice, andouille sausage with saffron aioli was tremendous! Each part of the dish paired well together. I was very pleased with my choice!!
Great atmosphere, service and fellowship!
